sorry to hear that taarsha why have the drs wiped their hands so to speak?
Im on my 3rd cycle of clomophene not too sure as to whether ive had a proper AF or not. I started spotting which went to lite for 4 days & has now completely stopped & my temp as gone up am wondering if maybe implantation bleeding but would something like that go for 4 days? the bleeding started after a 2nd temp drop (confused?? look at my charts) so just incase it was just a lite AF in taking clomo again as i needed to start on CD2 so yeah...

Basically, they have said that there is nothing else they can do unless i go thru IUI or IVF. I ovulate fine, even with PCOS - and DH has near perfect sperm. Unexplained infertilty is the hardest to come up with solutions for since you don't know exactly why things aren't working. 
I found that when I was on clomid that my AF was different to normal too. It was shorter and not as nasty. I went from a 7 dayer to a 4 dayer with one heavy day if that. Also - clomid did crazy things to my LP - I ended up with a 17 day (!!!!!) LP. I would O on CD13, and AF would arrive until CD30/31. Very annoying.
But - I am lucky in a lot of respects. I have gotten pregnant 3 times without assistance, even if 2 times I did end up losing the babies. I still have Bethany, which I am grateful for. But its still incredibly hard to deal with the fact that she will likely be our one and only. You go in with all these plans about having children, and what sort of age gap you are gonna have, and it's all blown out of the water.

It took me 6 months to get pregnant with my second child but lost the baby at 10 weeks. It was very hard to lose the baby, but I also found it hard about having to change all the plans I had made and it made me realise that mother nature has her own timetable and there is nothing that you can do about it. It was a very hard lesson. I was lucky that I got pregnant two months later and hope like anything that it all works out for you...GOOD LUCK

Hi Everybody!
just a question for whoever, Has anyone concieved naturally with having a low sperm count and low motility, if so how low were your partners results? I also have PCOS which does also put a spanner in the works.

Hi Noodle! My DH had 50% motilitly (darn lack of sense of direction!!). As I recall the count was fine though there wasn't a huge sample (sorry if TMI) though the doc thinks that was just stress (no sodding wonder!) We managed to fall pregnant by ourselves and found out the month before our first fertility appointment. Took us 13 months.

That's actually really helpful for me too Paws 
DH's fertility test showed 'doubtful' motility (I can't remember the percentage), and 56% abnormality, but he had a really good count - 91 million per ml. It's nice ot know that you guys conceived with the motility thing.

Thanks guys! Paws you gave me a bit of hope my DH was tested a few months ago and he had only 10mill per ml and 50% motility (another on with a bad sense of direction  ) he has just done another test today after taking herbs for a few months so will see if they have made any difference! then our GP is writing a referal to fertility specialist so we will see what happens from here
and i'll keep my fingers crossed for you ginger! sounds like you've had a hard road!

Yeah I can't remember the percentage of abnormality but all up it was enough that Monique decided not to make us wait the full year for the referral but do it at 10months. (we just happened to have a long wait anyway thanks to them being very busy and the Christmas period also hitting.
