Topic: 2nd or more babys.. Posted: 14 August 2005 at 10:34am |
Hi I just want to know from other mums, were you bigger with your 2nd or 3rd child, I am 20weeks and the same tummy bigness as when I had Caleb at 31 weeks, I feel huge and uncomfortable already, babys normal size so i dont know
I cant fit any clothes I wore right up until I had Caleb but havnt got bigger anywhere but my Tum and a lil on my Bum...
Im hoping it's a good thing since I'm up for a prem, maybe this baby will just be bigger, But Caleb was 4lb8oz they said if i went full he would have been an 10-11lb baby...

Hi Judith. Yeah I feel about the same bigness but am sure that i seemed pregnant earlier. Baby seems to be spread out a little more rather than just a bump...well, rather than a vertical bump, baby's a horizontal bump if you get the idea. I had a dream last night that baby was a girl.....also mechanical but that's not the point.

I am only pregnant with my first so can't say if it is true or not but all the books say that you are bigger with subsequent children, smallest with 1st due to tummy not having had to stretch like that before or something...

Yep, I'm on my third pregnancy and boy, do I feel huge. I started showing way earlyer than last time. I guess thats partly the reason I feel like this pregnancy has dragged on.

Thanks for all the replys.. makes me feel soooo much better, It was about this time with caleb that I felt like I had run out of room.. and yes again I feel as though my insides are stretched to there limits, it is so uncomfortable, I feel like my sisdes are going to split, my specialist says its because my uterus and my "body Frame" are small, my body frame is not small in my opion, its very normal, I'm 6ft and avergage (not Preg) is about 67kgs, which is normal, and Ive had tiny friends that have had massive 9lb babies and they didnt complain as much as I have..lol i cant get comfy ever it seems.. but I shouldnt comlain, I want this baby to stick it out in there as long as possible...
I love being preg but I forgot the lil things from when I had Caleb that make you feel like $hit
