So sorry Simonne, I was keeping an eye on this thread hoping you would come back with good news. Well you can take comfort in the fact that it seems you body is doing what it should, and keep temping for the next month. Might pay to buy some tampons as well, just to satisfy ol' Murphy!

I had to have a chuckle at the Aries impatience as well, I am *classic* in that arena - especially now that I'm pregnant !

Thanks Sarah,
I'm going to do exactly that with my grocery shop this week And, I just put a pile of new clothes on layby today If that doesn't tempt Murphy ...
Thankfully, my sore boobs are receding today. I thought I was going to go around the bend with them!
(Actually, just being a completely random for a mo ...isn't layby the most fantastic way to buy up a whole pile of new stuff? You can pick the new season items up as they hits the shelves, put a deposit on, and leave it sitting there for 6 weeks! I mean ...it's winter stuff, so it's not like I NEED it for 6 weeks AND ...this way I can sneak it past the husband better!! )

I love layby but I tend to be a bit naughty and put it on layby and then go and pay the lot off a few days later as I want the clothes
Hubby finds it funny, and thankfully doesn't mind my shopping addiction, last time I did a big one I spent over $1,000, even the layby deposit was big

*Snort* That sounds extremely familiar
The only reason this layby is going to last most of its 6 weeks is because I've dropped a hideous amount on new stuff in the last few weeks (wardrobe overhaul!), and hubby is threatening to confiscate my visa (he made a lunge for it last weekend, but the only thing he got out of it were scratches and bite marks ) ...I need to lull him into a false sense of security for a bit, whilst still getting my hands on new season goodies

that sounds like a plan!!! My downfall is working right near a mall, lunchtimes are often spent wandering the shops spending up large!
Now for more pre pregnancy brain issues:
I work in the insurance industry and had to type out a certificate today with an exclusion on it, hydrostatic pools and tanks exclusion to be exact.
Instead of typing that I typed, hydrostatic poos and tanks exclusion

Oooo - well done!! And you're only on day 13 of your cycle ...imagine what you'll be typing in another week or so!!
I know what you're saying about working near a mall ...I work in Newmarket - the shopping capital of Auckland. I think hubby is busting for me to get pregnant just so he can know that me and my credit card will be safely at home with kids. *Snort*

haha that is so funny Simmone. I am in Takapuna right by westfield, which happens to have my favourite shop in it!!!
I thought my typing had been safe, my speech certainly hasn't been, tried to tell hubby that NZ beat England in the 7's on Friday but kept saying Kingland

*chuckles* you ladies are great !
But if you think that's bad, I work in a 'service centre' (aka call centre), and so I'm on the phone 99% of time - some of the stuff i've come out with by accident has been very VERY embarassing !! i actually said 'shat' instead of 'sat' once, i forget peoples names ALL the time or call them by the wrong one !! ummm... i tried to say 'no worries' and 'no trouble' at the same time and came out with 'no wubbles'
as for shopping though i'm quite "lucky"... only get half an hour for lunch and am not close enough to get to a shopping centre and back in that space of time ! i think hubby is grateful too

Oh boy ...Takapuna is as bad as Newmarket. The only thing worse would be Parnell or Ponsonby ...The husband is going a bit crosseyed with my shopping - my latest purchase is a wrap thing which has one sleeve, and you just sort of wrap yourself up in it. Anyway ...hubby took one look at it and said "You've been ripped off. They forgot to put the other sleeve on." So I just said "Crap ...you're right ...and guess how much YOU paid for it ...??" Wiped the smile off his face quick smart that did.
I think my worst typing bugger up of recent times was sending correspondence to our biggest client (I work in legal) making reference to the Pubic Trust (as opposed to the more appropriate Public Trust).
Hey Jax ...there's always mail order Pumpkin Patch do a gorgeous catalogue ...It's important that us girls are resourceful in our shopping endeavours

YAY YAY YAY! After months of waiting we are pregnant. Typical Aries, couldn't wait so I went and got one of the early tests and took it this morning and the blessed two lines came up!
So happy, just had to tell someone!

Congratulations!!!
Well I am going to pull out of the race so to speak this month. To much stress and other things going on for me to conceive I think. We will still try, but I think we will be out of luck for this month
