Topic: Go go bag advice wanted....     Posted: 10 November 2009 at 11:13am |

I'm thinking about buying one now as DD is 10 months and waking 4-5 times a night, 70% of the time her covers are off...

She can crawl and stand in the cot so I'm wondering if the bag will restict her movement and hack her off! (Giving cause to call for me even more!)

Has anyone introduced one at this stage? How did it go?

Does anyone have a really active baby that manages to move in them ok? I know one of the advantages is that they prevent babies from standing and climbing up the cots, however I know DD will try and try and try some more.....!

My daughter can stand, sit, and crawl around in hers - she just can't climb out of the cot. We introduced a sleeping bag at 8 or 9 months (?), and it's great because she doesn't wake up cold.

My boy can move about in his.
I introduced it about 7 months and had no problems.

As for how to introduce it- I would just put it on her and maybe a light blanket over top as that's what she's used to. I wouldn't imagine it to cause her any greif.

Lil miss has been in hers since she was really little, but she can walk in it - she's Safety Sleeped in the cot so she can't get up, but if i get her up with it on, she wanders around the house in it.

Can you borrow one to try for a few nights before you commit to buying one?
