I'm lucky in that all 3 of my children are (usually!) asleep not long after 7:30pm, so I can study in the evenings.

I've talked to Nat... he said the interview went well, and the school seems pretty good (from a teacher perspective - we didn't talk about from a parent/student perspective).

Nat said the Science HOD (Head of Department) was as lovely in person as she sounded over the phone, and that the Principal is a really nice guy. The school has good systems in place, and a well-developed dicipline proceedure (things Nat really wants, as they are either basically non-existant or not working here).

We only talked briefly, but it sounds like Nat is happy with the way the interview went. He said that the Principal all but offered him the position (nothing official (sp?) can happen yet as the school actually hasn't finished advertising it!) and seems keen to work out ways to help us shift as well.
