I like the first one
We don't use them in the beds either but they are great for lying them on when they are little or taking out.

Slightly OTT......whats up with not using fleece in kids beds? Because that's pretty much what makes up Hollie's bed :S

My oldest three all had fleece in their beds. I always used cotton against their skin but would layer in fleece for warmth.

Flake - I think it's coz it doesn't breathe like natural fibres do so there is a possibility of overheating.

Oh and the only reason lil miss doesn't have fleece in her bed is coz she is a sack baby all the way so she doesn't have any blankets at all.

Yep, I didn't use fleece on their beds either for this reason.

Then again the girls are in sleep sacks now so no blankets

I dont use them on beds because they arent a natural fibre so they dont breathe .. I just personally like to have natural fibres on the bed (and Issy is in a sleepsack so mostly she just uses that), but she does have a merino blanket that we can layer over top if its really cold.
