I just HAVE to get this off my chest! Someone I work with is a big know-it-all and her sister is due to have her 1st baby in a few weeks (this person I work with has none). Anyway, today she proceeds to tell me "Oh you're labour was so easy! People go through so much worse than you did, you're so lucky!"

Ok, this is true to a certain degree. My labour was quick with no complications, but I don't think ANY labour is easy. When I said this to her she said "oh no, yours was easy, it didn't go for very long at all"

What p**ses me off about this is that SHE HAS NEVER BEEN PREGNANT/GIVEN BIRTH and here she is telling me how easy my labour was...grrr!!! I had 4 hours of constant contractions with no down time in between. I went from 4 cm to 10 cm dilated in 10 minutes. She wouldn't even know what pain is

Sorry for the big ramble, but she is just one of those people who thinks she knows EVERYTHING and I've put up with it for 2 years and today she went just a bit too personal with her opinion
My beautiful 2 girls...nearly 4 and 13 months

That must be so annoying! But you do have the upperhand in some way - that is, she doesn't have a clue! Try to let the water run off the duck's back and be (smug in this case )

Bring on Karma to her. I hate people like that haven't been there but have to say what its like.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
