Topic: Had my scan... Posted: 28 April 2006 at 8:07am |
Hi all, I had my anatomy scan last night and its a ..... girl!!!!! We are really excited about it as it is the first girl born into hubbys family for generations!! He said he was 99.9% confident about the sex aswell so thats pretty good! And she is perfect, got all the bits and bobs she should and measuring spot on for dates. Now I think my credit card is going to get a hammering in the weekend buying pink stuff
Paws - my due date buddy - have you been for your scan yet????

Wow that is so exciting. I went to see my midwive yesterday for a routine check up and she gave me the form for my next scan (20 weeks) which will be in 6 weeks time. My husband and I can't wait!

Thanks girls - its still sinking in I think!! I booked my scan about 3 or so weeks ago but surprisingly, the time went quite fast!
Lol Jezsika - they are certainly going to be spoilt little princesses aren't they!!!! I also keep thinking "what if they got it wrong??" I mean with a boy you can pretty much tell its a boy but for little girls it kinda just their word for it IYKWIM?? Although the sonographer was pretty certain. I have to have another couple of growth scans anyway so I'll get them to check again!!!
