last year, i dressed C up in a rabbit suit and J up as a priate and I was just the hot mother.
Don't do the sexy nurse/maid etc, soo lame and over done. Go as shrek or something, lol.

I always think Halloween as scary.? witches and goblins and kids in sheets as ghosts, a visa bill or John key even...

I've got a stash of costumes, both kiddie size and 'grown up' size - I used to dance. So if you want to go as a clown like this:
(only I can't find the black skull cap so you'd have to fashion something for it or slick your hair down)
 or tiger lily
or a 20s flapper (I can't find a pic that looks like my dress but it's drop waisted and mostly white with gold fringing, comes with a headband and a long string of fake pearls)
or a cabaret singer - royal purple dress with slits up both sides so needs fishnets!
then PM me and you can borrow - I can send to you or I can give it to Emma if you're going to be seeing her before the party
 edited for spelling

Oh gutted, i thought my costume was going to be really unique haha.
Im going to my friends party as a bride that was killed on her wedding night...
Oh well, it will still be different to my friends, they always go as a goth, emo, pirate, fairy or gangster haha.

For the past 3 years we've hosted a big halloween party at our place (not having one this year due to a mini-building site in our backyard with our huge deck being built and new baby) but I've gone as your traditional Witch (bought a wig, cloak and hat from the Warehouse), a pirate (stripey singlet top and sword/eye patch from $2 shop) and last year I made a costume using old fabric scraps as the girl from 'The nightmare before christmas' and bought a devils red wig from the Warehouse and cut the horns!
Everyone has always put in an effort for their costumes - we've had a Monk, toilet paper Mummy (very funny finding bits of toilet paper all over the place the next day), evil clowns, "death", playboy bunnies, cowboys, etc etc!
The warehouse has heaps of cheap costumes and wigs/masks - just if you get a mask, make sure there is room in the mouth to eat/drink! Have fun!!
