I've been recommended it to kick-start labour, they're going to induce me at 41 weeks otherwise so we've got 5 days to get things going.

Just wondering whether it worked for anyone else and what kind of dosage you were taking?

I've got the little pilules that dissolve under your tounge and taking 2 every 15 minutes for 4 doses 2x a day. Day 1 down on them and nothing yet

It will only work if your body is ready for it to work. I took the liquid and it was a couple of squirts under my tongue every hour or so.

The other one is Pulsatilla. Herbalists generally recommend one or the other based on your symptoms and how you're feeling.

Good luck hun!! If you're ready to go, it'll definitely push you in the right direction It's the homoeopathic version of blue cohosh, a very strong herb to start contractions. Are you working with a homoeopath? It's a pretty hard out remedy, make sure someone knows you're taking it

Yup the homeopath at the healthstore recommended it and midwife knows I'm taking it too. They seem to think it can't do any harm as it won't work if it's not meant to... as in if my body isn't ready for it then it won't do anything. Here's to hoping

How come you need to be induced at 41 weeks?

Not much advice here, I haven't looked into homeopathy very much but I've heard of this being used quite a few times. I'd be really interested to see how you get on, if you use it!
