For the past couple of weeks Ava has been nodding her head when she is on tummy time or in her exersaucer. She only does it when she is tired and its like she cant keep her head up....is this anything to be concerned about or just pure tiredness?

Isobelle loses a bit of her head control when she is tired too. I would only worry if there is another behaviour that seems unusual.

Anymore info anyone?  I want to know about this too.  Sometimes when I carry Brooke around she bobs her head alot.  (She looks like she should be in a mosh-pit!)  Sometimes she accidentally headbutts me.  Not sure if it is a head control thing - sometimes I think it might be her way of telling me she wants a burp?

Yeah i think for Brooke it is because she is so young and she doesnt have proper head control yet.

Ava, on the other hand, is nearly 7 months old.

Oh, and she has been occasionally leaning her head to the right as well.

She has been extremely tired lately...so maybe that is it?

If she is leaning her head to one side I might be inclined to call Healthline or Plunketline. Just to see if the two (nodding and leaning her head) could possibly be an ear infection or blockage. I wouldn't worry about seeing a doctor at this stage - just see what the nurses think.
