OK so I'm urgently trying to find an old 1970s couch for DH for a short film he's helping a group of at-risk youth to make this week. They need to get it today, ready for filming tomorrow.

It needs to be in reasonably good condition.

Something kinda like this one here.

So what are the other websites that are like trade me? I thought sell me free was one but it seems to have mostly new stuff, and went to sella.co.nz.... what's the other websites I need to know about?

Any help appreciated! Oh and it's in Auckland.

TIA!

Thanks kriss, that's just what we're after!

Not for $150 though

They have no budget so we're thinking super cheap. Under $30. I got an awesome couch for my classroom a couple of years ago for $6 and it would have been perfect if a couple of my boys hadn't broken it. Guttered!

Check ebay as well? Though I guess you'd have limit search to NZ.

I dont have a couch, but we have a lazy boy style chair that is similar style (although green).  If it would meet your needs (and it wasnt going to get trashed ) then you could prob borrow it.

Thanks guys - we ended up buying one from someone from church.

Oh and Sam thanks heaps for the offer of the chair, wasn't as easy as borrowing though cos they have to 'trash' it! Lol.

Anyway thanks for your help everyone

Aww that sounds so lovely!! Sitting in the sun reading... it's the small things in life eh.

Actually it sounds a bit like the chair my parents have, that used to be my Grandad's. It's a green old-school lazy boy chair. Still real comfy too!
