Topic: hhm, xmas dilema - help! Posted: 26 November 2006 at 4:26pm |
Ok, so in the mid-year sales we got Ayja a fisher rpice my first dolls house to put away and give her at xmas as her big pressie.
Looking at it now closer i find it really doesn't come with much furniture.. ie, no beds etc.. just table and chairs.. and the 3 people. She loves to put dollies to bed etc so i think that's a bit sucky for it not to come with anything more than a table and chairs.
Now i know there are furniture sets you can get, one for the baby's room, one for mum and dads room, another for the lounge.. then there's a granny with a buggy, and a big sister with a bed.
I saw some in farmers here in palmy a week ago.. but didn't get them at the time, i went back ony 3 days later to find them all gone - no where else in town sells them - kmart warehouse - both sell the dolls house but not the furniture, and toyworld so nicely told me that "no, that's actually a deleted line, so i guess they'll be out of stock everywhere soon" ARGH!!! what a gimmick! Farmers thinks they might get more in but can't guarantee it.
Anyway.. I am asking anyone to keep a look out for me and if they see them i am willing to chuck the money your way to get some for me, mainly would love the baby's room set, and one of the sets with the bed.. but if anyone sees any, please tell me!
otherwise we will be stuck with a dolls house that you can no longer actually get furniture or extras for. I know i can buy other sets etc but would be nice to get the ones meant for it.
HAve included a link to the fisher-price website page that has it on it, plus the furnishings at the bottom of the page so you have an idea what it looks like.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance ladies.

I know you siad Farmers ssaid they might get more in, but what about asking them to get it in for you, by ringing other branches. They really should offer that service to you, I know they have done it for me in the past. Get on to it now though, as the transfer can take a while. Good luck!

Janine! I found the baby's room set at the Farmers near me, would you like me to get it? It's $19.99, and the ONLY one left! So weird, they have heaps of dolls houses for sale, but no accessories! If you're online and can reply please let me know as I'm going back to pick Ella up from creche and can get it for you then.. I've PM'd you too
If you can't reply until tonight, I hid it under some other toys so hopefully no one else finds it lol
