Topic: Hi to all the guys Posted: 07 March 2007 at 9:55am |
Hi. I'm busymum's DH. I've been ghosting this forum for awhile. Thought I'd get my own profile instead of piggybacking.
*edit. hi to all the girls too. I tried editing the title but couldn't*

My Dh thinks it would make him a nerd... He is deathly scared of being a nerd (he already is, but I haven't the heart to tell him!)

hello and welcome!
I'm always telling my DH about what we talked about on the forum today and invaluable advice I have recieved re. Caitlin.
I don't want him on here though as we only have one PC and that would impose on my time

I think you SAHD's are doing an awesome job. It must be very hard venturing into "the female domain", I know that I find it difficult, I'm not a "girly girl". I read Kiwi Parent, and a SAHD writes a coloum (? I just can't spell that right today, nappy brain) that I really enjoy reading. I look forward to reading your posts, and seeing how it is from the Dad side!

Annie I got 2 of those magazines in my toddler pack from Reach Me. He was quite interesting to read.
I have to say I'm glad my Dh doesn't read or take any notice of whats going on in here. I would hate for him to read stuff i've said about his mum (he knows most of it any way). He has liked some of the info and advice I have received about Josh and his wind issues.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Ummm. I'm not a SAHD. I'm a BAHD (yes, you know I'm BAHD, I'm BAHD you know it oooooooowwwwwwwwww!) (Hmmm..he probably wasnt a good one to quote.)
But thanks all for the welcome. Yes it is scary venturing into the "female" domain. Truth be told? Uh uh...that breaking the man's code. Actually, honestly? I'd rather not do most thing I have to. Especially when there's all this *stuff* you have to do to keep on looking after babies/toddlers/little girls!!
**I keep trying to type something but it keeps coming out wrong. DW looks after the kids for the majority. I love her. She's a trooper. And a softy, And I need that to balance out my hardness. Sand a few edges off me. I was trying to say "If I don't look after the kids who will?" But the obvious answer to that is DW. And I'd be an irresponsible Dad. I don't really know how else to say that though. Actually. I don't really know what I'm saying here... I think...
I'll just go back to Post ghosting for awhile.
Hey Rug!
