Took 4 months for us - I was 29 at the time. First month temping though which I think made a big difference.

first month for us and I was 31 I really thought it would take a few months so was quite surprised when I got a BFP the first month of trying.,

I go have to prepare myself when we try for #2 that it may not happen as fast.

Still ttc, been trying for nearly 2yrs now......it's so depressing and disheartening. First time took 9mths that ended in m/c then 5mths later got pregnant again and that one was an ectopic. Had a break after that for a few months, been trying again for the past 2 months and still nothing!!!
:( I just wish it would just hurry up and happen

hang in there stormy ... my sister took 3 years to conceive her first full termer and then the next 2 only took a month

It took us 2 and a half years of trying and lot of fertility drugs that didn't work in the end we gave up and were going to have a few months off the drugs before we started IVF but 3 or so weeks after that decision we were pregnant with this wee one due 3 days before christmas

*hugs* stormy it can be a long hard road! You'll get there chick!

wow, lots of you got pregnant first or 2nd try. We're at 10 months (11 cycles) and nothing yet. Just had a lap so hoping that did the trick.

took us about 4 years.... lost count.
my cycle was all over the show anywhere from 25 to 75 days so it was hit and miss. But luke came in the end. Didn't use drugs or anything just was on weight watchers!!! maybe that was the trick!!! hah hah..

With this one I was on Minipill...gave that up....made love and BANG!! I am pregnant!

It's nice to know I'm not the only one taking forever!! You start to think there's something wrong with you....and to make things worse....people start suggesting there might be! It's like don't they already know it's stressful and upsetting enough without their 2cents worth! ha!! I dont think they realise.
Thanks for the well wishes & encouragement ladies :) much appreciated

fingers crossed it happens this month! ;) practice makes perfect!! hehe!
