We are in a PHO and it is $15 for adults. haven't worked out how much it is for kids/babies yet - but I guess that will be the next thing!

My friends and family in Auckland can't believe how checp it is up here!

Ours is $33 for me (with CSC,a bout $50 without), free for under 6's and I think about $15 for kids over 6, and Willie pays $22 as he is registered under one of their ProCare Careplus plans for his blood pressure/cholesterol/diabetes etc. It makes his prescriptions only $3 each too.

No CSC here either and its $55 for me to see the doc, although free if pregnancy related. Thank goodness for medical insurance that I get reimbursed (its part of my salary package that my work pays for DH and I for Ultracare). Not looking forward to when I leave my job and we have to fork out for it ourselves though

Its not too bad Peachy - often Southern Cross will let you stay on the same package rate. We both had it through the company we met at 10 years ago, and when we both left to go contracting we carried on with it, but they let us keep the same rate.  Worth giving them a call to have a chat!

SimSam yep I did give them a call and they said I would go on to the maternity package rate as I cannot stay on my companies rate, although they said it wouldn't be too much different in cost.

Adding the baby isn't too much extra either, its DH and me that cost a bomb!

In Wellington we had to pay $15 a time for Joey (at a PHO with a CSC) and here in Blenheim it's FREE!! YAY!
