 Topic: How tall is your 2 year old ?

We had plunket over the other day for Kaitlyn's 2 year check up well a month later and she is 94 cms and is off the charts not bad for a kid who was 4 weeks early and weighed 6 lbs 2 ozs and 50 cms.
I am just curious our tall your 2 year olds are.

My mum told me if you measure them at 2 then double it, it will be roughly how tall your child will be as an adult! it worked for me (sorry bit off track)

My boys is 83cm, one month out from turning two. he is a bit of a shorty on the scale I think. He also was 4 weeks prem. He is slightly over in weight though... Loves his food!

A was 90 cm! A tall un too! She's still really tall!
C at 21 months was 85cm so a bit shorter than his big sis!

Yep my girl has always been tall, she was 92cm at two years old. She was 4.5 weeks early also. I got told by a paediatrician about the double their height at age two, so she's gonna be a tall leggy lady lucky thing!

At 23 months DS was 85cm tall, he's now 2.4 years ans Im not sure what his height is, will have to measure him again.

At 2 he was about 95cm, he's 3 now and a little while ago he was 100cm.

At 2, Ollie was 89.5cm (he is now 111cm at 4y 5m)& Lilia was 91.5cm (she is now 101.5cm at 2y 7m). Hee hee, no doubt Ollie will not like being shorter than his sister  The 'double their height at 2yr' worked for my DH too.

At 2yrs DS was 97cm and now 2yrs3mths he is 98.5cms, but he was 58.5cms at birth and his Daddy is 6ft 2inch (or is it 3??) so he was destined to be a tall kid!

At 18 months Clodagh is only 76cm lol, so will be interesting to see what she's like at 2!  Think she is all her Daddy.....a shorty!

I think im a freak.
at 2yrs i was 99cm.
and i have not grown any taller since I was 10
(been seeing the same paed sage 9-18 and never grew from age 10)
and im only 168cm now.
so i definately didnt double my height at 2

hehe I can beat that. Emily was just 79cm at her 2 year plunket check, but when I measured her up against the wall a couple of weeks later, apparently she was only 76cm! She will be 3 in February and when I measured her just the other day she was 84cm. She was a tiny wee prem though born 2 months early and just 3lb. But I'm a shortie myself at just 152cm so poor thing is destined to be short.
