Topic: I am really wierd..... Posted: 13 January 2006 at 1:50pm |
Or a paranoid newbie preggie?
I've been a bit queasy the last few days and this afternoon I'm acutally feeling more normal...which oddly enough seems to make me feel a little funny!
It's almost like it's comforting having the morning sickness 'cos then I know things are really happening!
Am I odd or is this normal?

i'm sure it's normal paws everyone's morning sickness is different though.
i didn't get any til about 9wks and it stopped at 12wks. somedays are better than others, it depended alot on what i ate and also what i did during the day.
but as always, if you are feeling uneasy about anything, call your midwife (if you have one yet) or your GP. it doesn't cost anything and its worth it to settle your mind.

I felt like that too Paws. After the morning sickness finished and before I could feel baby kicking I was very paranoid that something was wrong. And like Vanessa said, MS varies throughout the day and every day. But do call if you are worried.

LOL Paws, it's not wierd at all - it does tend to come and go, and when it goes, take advantage of it as much as possible !! I gave up trying to eat *too* normally, although I tried to pick something relatively good for me when I didn't feel like spewing. At the moment I'm having a few worried moments, even with me looking like I've got a balloon under my shirt - I really want to start feeling bubs moving around :P

Yeah, i agree, somtimes the symptoms - although not pleasant, are a reminder that yes you are pregnant and can be reassuring. I'm going through that now with false contractions - bloody hurt, but good because it means something is happeneing...same thing I think.

Yep, I had MS non stop with Maya, if I ever felt that it was easing off and got worried, all I had to do was think of McDonalds and I would feel sick again . With Bubble I had only random bouts of it here and there, not sure if that was because my hormone levels were quite low or not.

Mine's eased up at the moment and I'm hoping it will stay this way before disappearing right when it should!
