I am such a dag !!

But this is a good kind of dagginess, I think !!

Woke up this morning not feeling especially good but perked up a little after I had a shower. Got to work and it was all downhill, so have come home to rest up, and luckily have a day off tomorrow anyhow.

This isn't the daggy part however LOL

On the way home I was listening to The Edge radio station (94.2 here in aucks), and they were having a live interview with Ben Harper after he'd played a concert last night.

I am SUCH a huge fan of his music, and was so upset that I couldn't go to the concert Anyway, after listening intently all the way home, and trying to ring in only to find the phone lines were busy - I sent them a txt (to the studio). Bubs is a big fan of his Diamonds on the Inside CD, she loves to "dance" to it and seems to calm down after having had a boogie, so I asked them to tell him - and JUST as I pull in the driveway - they read it to him I can't recall word for word what he said but he said that was awesome and then something else... and even Jay Jay thought it was cute !! LMAO

I am *so* going to the Warehouse when I feel better and buying his new CD

*ahem* Anyway, off to bed now....

*snort sniffle cough wheeze snort sneeze*

AAAHHHH I missed it! I love Ben too Jax. I went to the concert in Tokyo when I was pregnant with Jake and he kicked the whole way. And the concert was the BEST one I've ever been to, and I've been to many!

how funny. I like the edge aswell, they are so funny. Does anyone know what the story with Jase leaving was?

Yes there were prank calls made to Jase and his girlfirend to the point they felt they had to move house. It was in the newspapers at the time but I can't locate a link. I don't know the last name of Jason, it might be under that.

My friend worked in the radio industry and said the jase dude was majorly harrassed by JJ and Dom and theres a whole lot more that went on that the publis doesnt know about. Anyway she wont listen to the edge now. She hates JJ and Dom and always trys to change my car radio station. Needless to say I growl her as, well hey its my car and I like the edge lol

I'm not a big fan of all the chatter, but because there is so much of it, I often swing between the radio and a CD...

*snort sneeze cough wheeze hack sniffle sneeze* Ok... back to bed I think. Had a Lemsip and some cereal for lunch (Yay for Cheerios !) and am back to feeling snivelly, heavy headed and sore, yech. Although I have had the chance to chuckle at myself because almost every time I go to type 'Lemsip' I end up typing 'Lemspit' instead Hehehe.

I hate the rock. hey Nikki, Ben is coming back in december. We might come down to wellington and stay with dad for it. How about we go together? I can even wrangle you a free babysitter in my dad and step-mum.

One of my old girlfriends from uni works for the edge. I haven't spoken to her for ages, but she won an award for best radio promotion thing.

And I liked JJ and Dom on Treasure Island. I hated Peggy. Grrrr Peggy.
