oo Lou I'd be so mad! At least you don't have to wait 6mos again.
Kelly, you can check out nzendo as a starting point of symptoms etc for your friend. Basically it means a lot of little growths inside that can stick in between organs and therefore cause a lot of pain at Ovulation/period times (or both or all month long). Symptoms vary far and wide, mostly depending on where it is in the body.
I think my Ov is over for this month. Phew! Yesterday and today at work were very long and I mostly sat down and did data entry stuff. A good thing my boss is away and it's not busy! *sigh* if I'm not pg this month, I'm going back on BCP. I still have most of the same symptoms but I have to admit that it is better at this part of the month.

Oh thanks Toni. I'll PM you my addy. That would be fab!
Yeah, I have my pre-surgery appointment tomorrow as well as my anaesthetist (sp) appointment. So at least I can ask a whole mess of questions.
Oh the upside of things, I won't have to miss out on so much class this week. Hurrah! First week back after the holidays, so was a bit inconvenient.

Do any of you other ladies get extreme hormones as well? I'm having some major tremendous difficulty dealing with the mood swings. If you do, how do you handle it?

Becks we must be on opposite cycles cause I was about to write the same thing about my Ov pains! I was gonna say something about enough rants from me for another week or so Everything has just eased so much this afternoon, so relieving.
Kate, the only thing I found helpful with the mood swings was the BCP, which isn't too helpful if you're TTC! Pain upon pain upon pain just mucks with your mind after a while, soooo depressing! After having 5mos on BCP and about 3 weeks off, my moods have been ok, but I don't think it would take me long (like 2-3 mos) and I'll be at despair from the hopelessness spiral of pain etc that endo brings

We aren't TTC just yet - waiting till the end of the year so that bubs will arrive after we're married in March - and I am on the BCP!!!! I feel like I'm always down, and tearful, and so many things set me off to crying, it drives me insane.

Could you try something herbal for the hormones?? I can't remember what it is that you can take - maybe St John's Wart???
I lied I was in so much pain this evening at band and coming back home was really bad

Kate - oh I have found my moods absolutely fine on the pill (although being off it this month I have been exceptionally horny!!! lol). The only other thing I do is take nurofen when I feel the first few niggles, to nip it in the bud as it were. I guess that helps with my moods because I feel more in control (if that's possible)
