After getting results of Alize's allergies I went and explained it all to the daycare and said I would provide his food as he willl need different from the others. The teacher assured me it was ok just to let them no what he is allergic to and they will tailor a menu to suit him that is close to what the others are having.
When we arrived today one of the teachers comes out to me and hands me a plate of muffins she has baked for Alize, they are wheat, egg, peanut and dairy free and YUMMY (hehehe had to try) she also made a few batches of different flavours for him and they are frozen at daycare for morning and afternoon tea.
Awww so nice of her to do all this baking on her long weekend (stat day yesterday).
The teacher herself has allergies to gluten and dairy so I guess she knew what I must be going thru!!!

Yay! That is great! We were lucky that Maya was already at daycare when she ended up in hospital for over a week with her allergies so they saw how serious it could be and were really accomodating.

Yay that is so good. Andrew daycare has had a little boy go through there with serious allergies like that and they were able to help out as well. And I loved it when I asked them to stop giving Andrew sugary foods and they did.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
