this year so far....

2 miscarriages
3mths trying to sell our house
buying the new house
having car written off
looking for a new one (although that wasnt too hard)
Rhiannon has been sick 3 times with Croup
Kent has been sick
Brother is having major problems getting to see his child (ive now become his advocate with the lawyers etc)
and now dad in hospital

I tell yah...if anything else goes wrong im probably gonna end up in a straight jacket locked in a padded cell, i honestly feel like im about to fall apart

Of course it doesnt help that Rhiannon has been sick for the past week...and having no car, havent been able to get anywhere...so have been couped up.

I am tempted to run away for a day and just hide and pretend that all is good in my world...but alas i know thats not going to happen.

Okay deep breath and on i plod : I also know that there are people who are having a much harder time than me, but i just felt like having a litle pity party

Oh sweetie, maybe you and DH should run away..... just for a night.  It doesn't have to be far away, drop Rhiannon with family and have a night in a motel or boatshed in Paramata. Close the curtains, lock the doors and forget about the world for a few hours - goodness only knows you deserve it.

No need to say sorry for a pity party
I think everyone deserves a rant.
Fingers crossed October is a stress free month for you

Awww Kaz, we've felt like this, this last year, too. We've done a role-swap, we have 3 preschoolers, we've been sick so many times this summer, my medical issues (which are now resolved thankfully).... it all adds up so quickly and we are just feeling now like we are seeing the light at the end.

Definitely I second going away for a night, or at least out for dinner/dessert. Just focus on each other, not the difficulties you've been having. It is such a relief in a storm.

Heres another spin- you've been through all that and you're still coping! Many many others would have fallen apart by now- just look at how strong you must be You should be very proud of yourself!
