Okay, so winter is almost here and so are the bugs.
Sitting here suffering from my first cold of the year I'm wondering, what do people swear by for getting rid of colds?

And are there any natural type immunity boosters that people think work well? Does Vitamin C make a difference once you've got hte bug?

I'm back at work in a couple of days, and with DS in daycare I'm sure we'll see our fair share of bugs this winter.

   Garlic tablets.
Works every time. I take 2 or 3 at a time once or twice a day and within a day or two I'm wondering what I was complaining about. And I'm the kind of person that tends to be hit really bad with bugs and such, so that's brilliant!

The ones I've got at the moment are Healtheries garlic, vitamin C, zinc & echinacea with olive leaf.

I always take Healtheries winter combo during the winter (must get some) its got vit C, echinacea, garlic, zinc and olive leaf. If I do get sick I continue to take that as well as Ester C, and it does seem to help. The winter combo stuff I just get from the supermarket and the Ester C from a healthshop. Oh just saw Jellys post thats the exact one I am talking about! SNAP!
I know a lot of people swear by something called viralex but it is pretty pricey you can get in health shops.

I drank a cr@p load of spirilina and charlies juice and i am all good 48hours later. I have no idea if it is meant to be good, but felt so good for the throat.
