Please include this family in your thoughts and prayers they are some friends of mine from the states and their little daughter is so seriously sick.

Shes a little bit older than Ella and has a type of severe epilepsy. At the moment shes in hospital in a drug induced coma while they try and work out what is wrong with her. She has around 200 seizures a day and has the mentality of a 1 - 2 month old child. If she is diagnosed with the myoclonic seizure disorder the prognosis is not good. They are also evaluating her for a feeding tube. When she has seizures her heartbeat goes upto 200bpm. She is in the coma to give her brain a rest.

She is the most beautiful baby i have ever seen and its so not fair that she has this so please pray for her or keep her in your thoughts. Im not a church kinda person but i definately pray for this little girl!!!

You read this kinda thing and just look at your own kids and realise how lucky you really are!!! It really does bring me to tears that noone should have to face this!

It is just so unfair that stuff like this happens to little babies.

I will keep her in my thoughts.

My friend has a baby with West syndrome which is a server type of epelepsi (oh the spelling) when their babe was 5 months old she had the seisuzes which ended her in hospital for a month. She bloated up from the seriods and didn;t respond to anyone just started into space. They didn't even know if she was going to smile again or be a vegetable. more than a year on she is smiling, she is reconising people she has crawled, talked (although behind)and now is pulling herself up to stand and has been told she will walk. yes she is behind but we are amazed as we were told she may not survive or do anything.
So I hope your friends baby will come thru this ok even if behind and I wish them all the love and best for this hard time.
and for you - its hard to see your friends go thru this (or hear) so a huge hug too
Ann
