I just wanted to pop in and say huge good luck to everyone and I'm thinking of you all

I actually feel a complete goose because I don't understand a lot of what you guys are talking about vis a vis drugs etc but I do think of you and I'm hoping it all works out

good luck for your blood test today then cheryl! Just a random question for ya.... what are your veins like after all these blood tests? its just because i only seem to have 1 good vein that they can get anything out of and each blood test is really starting to hurt, throb for the rest of the day and bruise really badly, next blood test i'm gona tell them they have to try see if another vein will work but if it doesnt they will have to use the same one!
o well its only pain and pain passes right!

Thanks Ginger i often think about you too!!! hope all is ok!

hehehe jess i love the flashie stick pusher!!!
and good luck with your LT phase this cycle here comes a dumb question... but the LT phase is the progestrone phase aye? and is it that hormone that is for implantation? so when you have short LT phases is that a lack of progestrone present?
i know i'm a weirdo i just need to know these things!

Sorry Ladies... This is waaaayy TMI - but I need some help and advice...

OK hubby and I have been TTC for long time and am now on Clomid due to PCOS/overweight probs. My periods have always been really heavy (and then some!) and painful and last on average 6 days from spotting to spotting.

Last time I just had about 4 days of what I would call semi-heavy spotting that was old/dark coloured - not bright as normal and not really enough to soak a tampon, but def needed to use something (other than pantyliner) and not a huge amount of the usual cramping.

Then I started of my first clomid cycle and now I seem to have my period again BUT thus is how it has gone... Thurs some staining when wiping on visiting the bathroom. Some cramps all day Thurs and Fri just cramps off and on all day. Sat cramps in the pm and small amount of bright bleeding (one wee dribble - for want of a better description).

Then nothing again till Sun pm and again just old dark coloured spotting. Today a few spots and that is it.

So my question is... Anyone else seen a change is cycles like this and know what caused it and what day do I call day 1 for this cycle to take the clomid? TIA

Kirsty sorry I can't help you as I don't have PCOS.If you get your period in the afternoon/evening then the following day is CD1.

I should get my blood results soon.

kirsty when i get AF (on my own no meds or anything) i normally spot for about 3 days and then AF comes properly but only ever very light dont know wether that is a PCOS thing or not. But count day one from first day of red blood and cheryl is right if it comes in afternoon or evening count next day as day 1. thats what i was told by the fertility clinic. dont know if that helps but i hope it is sorted for you soon!

and Cheryl good luck let us know as soon as you hear!

Guys I am out this cycle I rang them and they said my estrogen level has dropped from 400 and something down to 150 I am not too sure if fertilitea was interfering while being on clomid so I won't be buying anymore and just finish up what I have got left.I never had this much problem when we were trying for Jacob, just so angry about my body not doing what it is suppose to be doing

Oh big hugs to you honey!!! Yep, best to go back to no fertilitea if you think it could be what is interfering.
Anything is worth a try though and now you know it is not helping you.

Hope it all improves for the next cycle.

I have rung the specialist and left a message as they are only open in the am on Mondays. Hopefully will get back to me tomorrow. If I do not hear from them I will count Sunday as CD 1 as I got the only bright blood on Sat and nothing really before that.

So until I hear otherwise waiting for Thursday for clomid...

Thanks

I spoke to the coordinator this morning and she thinks it is weird that a/f came on her own and I had some estrogen but doesn't understand why it is not rising. She is going to speak to our specialist and what we should do next.

Afternoon everyone. Hopefully your specialist may be able to shed some light on your happenings. Best of luck for whatever is the next step for you.

Spoke to my specialists nurse this morning and she said to count day 1 as Sunday so I am currently CD 3. She also said to do a preg test just to make sure. I did 2 yesterday afternoon (2 diff brands!! - hows that for overkill!) and they were BFN. But I will prob do one on Thurs am before taking the clomid just to make sure.

Best of luck to all for tests etc today!

I did my pee test this morning but BFN. So am currently sitting here staring at my clomid tablet willing it to be nicer to me this time round! If only it would leap up and deposit itself straight in my tummy... I hate swallowing the things!!
