good luck for your scan RJ Yes, sounds like the same place on Dominion Rd! There were a few of us who went there at about the same time, and all of us had terrible experiences, so I'm really glad to hear they aren't doing the diagnostic scans anymore. I only went there for the 3D/4D technology (also thinking therefore their machine might have better resolution), but next time I'd probably skip it!

I can also recommend them! Often if problems show up with scans & they need to be redone, they refer onto Insight. |
so if i had a scan at another place and they thought there was a problem - then I would be referred to insight?
|
yes, raspberryjam, that's what they told me at Insight.
BTW I've also heard good things about Auckland Radiology Group, who are based in Wairau Rd.
Good luck!

Well they picked up my first daughter's IUGR while doing a check on her presentation (breech) and were great about it. Very very careful and made sure that the ball wasn't dropped right through to when I had my C-sect.
This time they did a check of #2's bloodflow early on as a benchmark and kept an eye on it just in case - without having to be asked. |
Im sure what they do is fine - they picked up a heart defect when only 40% are picked up before birth - was hard to miss though id say it was huge - I dont doubt they were good - but there manner was rubbish - glad they worked for you though bobbie!

They are fantastic. They picked up both my childrens kidney problems very early on as well as being very thorough with Anthony's scans and bringing us back in for 3 free scans to double check his heart after the anatomy scan when they thought they may have seen some sort of defect.
Also, amazingly enough they were able to fairly certainly tell me at the 13 week scan that Anthony was a boy. I didn't think it was possible, but they were obviously correct, and I know of several other people that have had the same thing happen.
