We fly to Ireland at Easter ( I do the return trip without DH).
This is the main reason for starting this thread, to gather some more apps that are aimed at toddlers so it will provide distraction

Also I'm just wondering what apps people have installed that they really value.

Toddler
Anything by Toddler Teasers; these are the ones I have:
     - Shapes ( it displays shapes on the screen and the toddler is asked to pick one) Free
    - Animals ( same concept) $1.29
   - Colors ( same concept) $1.29

Misc
- Facebook Free
- Skype Free
- AroundMe/Find NZ (Takes your GPS location and you can search for local business/services) Free
- Couch to 5K (Ah if only I wasn't so attracted to the Couch ) $4.19
- Allrecipes AU (Awesome app, you select the main ingredient, meal type length of time you want to spend cooking and it returns a list of recipes) Free
- ShopShop (Shopping list app) Free

There is a apps category called Kids which is great, I download the free ones for my 5 year old niece. You may as well download the whole lot because you can always delete them if they are rubbish.
My fave one that I play is Trace. I also like the word puzzle ones like WordPop and Scramble.

DP has one which is a lighter and you flick it open, light it then can flick it out and what not which seems to entertain him

I quite like playing the brain game ones, sudoku and hang man but they're not really going to amuse a toddler!

I second the bubble wrap, it's so fun! There is another one which is water and you can poke it and stuff and it does the rings... can't think of the proper name, but when dp comes home I'll take a look and see... He has about 6 pages or so of apps!

Ha, yeah it's funny because my DH likes the light saber app where you can swing the ipod around and it makes the light saber sound. Men are weird
