Topic: is 10 weeks too early? Posted: 01 October 2010 at 12:08pm |
(sorry most of it is a copy and paste from the due in thread...lazy I know )
To feel the baby move? I keep getting these sensations in my uterus that feel like the baby moving (feels just like ds did early on) but I know 10 weeks is sooo early and dont think it could actually be that! I felt DS at 14weeks and I know 2nd time round ya can feel it earlier but 10 weeks??? I was ignoring it and putting it down to gas but it's becoming alot more regular (and no need to fart lol sorry TMI)
So have anyone else felt bubs this early or know of anyone who has? or am I just loosing the plot?

Nope. I felt this one at about 11 weeks I think, and had felt Dan at 14 weeks.

Ive only been pregnant once but I have heard that the more babies you have had the earlier you can feel it.
My cousin who is pregnant with her 4th said she could feel flutters around 8 weeks.
So I think it is possible, books might not say so but I think if you know what you're feeling then it's probably that

I swear I felt Bella move at 9 weeks. It was like a light tapping/bubbly feeling and it got more and more regular everyday until around 18 weeks I felt a good kick! :)

I've only just felt it recently as I'm still carrying baby blubber from last year..hehehe my DS is 9 months old and I'm due the day after his bday..lol..it is an odd sensation though as I remember getting these twinges further down the track past 30 weeks plus last year so I'm dreading the thought that this is going to be a heavier baby. Last year my mw kept saying oh it's going to be a small bubs 6 maybe 7lbs then he came out very short ( 47.5cm) but over 8lbs!...lol...
