I have just been looking at the internet trying to find out the price for a Cariboo Classic bassinette with veil. The prices range from $314 to $399!! I can't believe there is such a big difference in price for the exact same item. It definately pays to shop around first!

Yeah I always find that online. Though usually not quite that big, the most I find is usually about a $50 difference

I don't normally mind buying 2nd hand but I want this to be an heirloom piece for our family so want to buy new. They are sold as factory seconds on TM byt Preston Int so am waiting for them to list some more.
I just couldn't get over the large range in price

I bought a brand new factory second from that trader on TM last month. It is beautiful, can't tell there is anything wrong with it, came with a new wool mattress and cost $180.

Thanks Queenbean, I have been wondering how bad the scratches etc would be on the factory 2nd. Will just wait for them to start listing again
