Topic: Its all about me........ Posted: 15 March 2007 at 5:57pm |
Well decided today to give my self a big treat now that I'm no longer breastfeeding..
I threw away all my pre pregnancy bras and went to the bendon outlet and brought all new ones, have been dying to do this for a few years, but never did it, so since i dont need maternity bras any more, it seemed like the perfect excuse.
They have a huge sale on and heaps of $5 and $10 racks,
Then i got myself a nice bottle of wine, so now i am home waiting for DH to come home and see what he thinks,,
he will prob find me a little drunk in a pile of new knickers,,,,ha ha ha

Good on you!!! When I stopped breastfeeding I unfortunately dropped a cup size so I had to go and buy new bras one cup size smaller One good thing though is that I can now have a few wines when I feel like it yippee

Good for you!
I don't know why but I never actually thought about going shopping for new undies after I stopped BFing. In fact, I still wear one of my maternity bras as it is the most comfortable bra I own!

I'm with ya! I wa very pleased to buy some new non-maty bras about a year ago... 8ish more months before I can wear them again...
Although I hear there's a shop in Feilding which sells "hotmilk" and other brands of attractive looking maty bras (can you believe it?!)... might check them out sometime

I had a "hotmilk" maternity bra, and odd as it may be i got quite a few comments, cant believe how many people pay attention when you whip your boobs out, have to say it was a really nice bra, pretty expensive though..

I am so looking forward to doing that. I have my bottle of wine already (or should I say bottles ) and i'm taking a childless trip to Otaki and going shopping there. I'm making sure everything gets chucked and then its all nice new stuff.

hahaha - i so had to laugh at the image that created in my head
And I'd so like to go buying new underwear - have just tried on 2 very very nice non maternity bra's and I'm one of those women (you either love or hate us) that has shrunk ... gahhhh .... I'm gutted, as they are 2 extremely nice, and now non-wearable bras.
