It's been 4 weeks and a new wave of sadness hit me last night and again when I woke up. I thought I was feeling much better but this morning I felt like I couldn't even go to work. I did manage to go but I could have easily not.

Last night I had to cancel meeting a friend for coffee. I found out recently that she is 16 weeks pregnant - the same as what I would have been. I got home from work last night and cried and cried. Then I realised I couldn't see her. It's too hard. I feel bad though because she is my friend and what if I'm never ready to see her while she's pregnant?

It's just all really hard at the moment and I feel like crawling back in my hole and being left alone.

Huge Hugs tan73!!
Haven't been on these forums for a wee while as been having trouble since forums were updated a couple of weeks ago - so, so sorry to hear things have been so hard the last couple of days. Seriously, if you don't feel up to going to work take the day off and just re-group... I can totally understand wanting to be left alone, and maybe a day to yourself might help.
Unfortunately the waves of emotion can be really upsetting, but they slowly become fewer and further apart. The way you felt about meeting up with your friend is totally understandable. Are you able to chat to her about how you're feeling? I'm sure she'd be really understanding. I haven't ever had any of my friends fall preg around the times I've been so I'm not much help there sorry.
Just wanted to say i hope today has been a little better for you, and remember you can PM me whenever you need an ear - take care x

I can totally understand not wanting to meet up with your friend who is where you should have been in your pregnancy. Surely part of the grief process, some days are better than others, and in time you could explain to her, but feel no need right now until you are ready.

At 2 weeks post MC, I am good today. Tomorrow I realise I may not be, and so be it. Let yourself feel & be OK with those feelings, but try to remember that we will come out the other side again.

You poor thing, hope you are feeling a bit better today. Its definately been a roller coaster ride for me too, with some good days and some not so good.
I can understand about not wanting to see your friend as well, we have a couple of friends that are due when we would have been and i havent been able to see them yet. I think/hope they understand its hard for me and im sure your friend will understand too.
Do whatever you need too to look after yourself x
