I have no feeling in the top of my fingers. I walked Nyah to school in the fog. That was a fun experience - NOT!!

I hear ya, cold here too!! Kids are funny how they don't seem to feel the cold sometimes (or just don't care?). I have slippers on and my tootsies are still chilly!
Lol nzpiper yeah I'm sure it's a lot colder down south, but don't you know Aucklanders are wusses when it comes to the cold |

I'm cold too! I'm seriously considering buying fingerless gloves for in the office (I already have a baby blanket for over my legs and I'm bringing in my under desk heater too). Man - I'm so naf!!
LOL nzpiper, if you moved north you'd go soft too - I definitely did. I grew up in Otago and moved to Wellington 12 years ago. DH and I went to Queenstown one July, a couple of years after I moved here, and could barely breath outside it was so cold (having previously spent 2 weeks a year skiing in Wanaka and Queenstown when I was growing up I was shocked at how soft I'd got).

Different kind of cold too tho, Auckland gets cloudy and rains and it gets a damp cold that's hard to heat up, especially when it's cloudy too so you don't get any sunshine heating up the windows whereas down south (and even in Welly) it's drier and sometimes it's bloody freezing and frosty but you get sun...sometimes.

Tis a bit nippy. Phoenix seems happy in his fleece and thermals. Our heater went bust on Tuesday, so glad I made use of the 30% off everything sale at Briscoes yesterday. New heater ahoy!

At least the fog is clearing now. I have the heater on as my cold is worse today after a sleepless night. Snug as a bug now :)

It was the first time I've seen fog at our place this year!
Nice and warm here now though |
