Topic: Its not every day you get a free car... Posted: 11 October 2008 at 3:12pm |
The funniest thing happened yesterday: a guy in blue overalls drove a car up our drive and walked away!! We managed to catch him in time. Basically he had the wrong address for a vehicle to be dropped off to (complete with keys LOL) after having done a service or WOF or something.
What a laugh though!! I'm glad for the owner's sake that we were home at the time.... can you imagine what would have happened otherwise??? Especially on a Friday ROFL!!

Opps huge mistake on the service peoples part. You would think that they would have at least gone to the door and make sure that someone was home... What kinda car was it?

Ummmm it was silver, a Nissan I think, certainly not an old-model car but it looked like a middle-aged "lady's" car IYGWIM. The inside of it was so tidy so they definitely don't have kids
