Topic: Itti Bitti ultimate wipes Posted: 13 May 2010 at 8:23pm |
Has anyone tried these?
I'm keen to know what kind of fabric they are made from. And also, I'm a bit stumped as to why the options and pictures given (on Itti Bitti NZ and Cheeky Cherubs) show 4 wipes of 2 colours, even though the price is per wipe! What if you only want to order one colour?

Oops, just re-read the Cheeky Cherubs website, and answered one of my own questions - apparently you can choose your own colour combinations.

Yeah, I didn't realise it wasn't four for that price. I have two and they are super soft, don't know what fabric, but they become moist without holding lots of water if that makes sense, but they're really good for cleaning the nappy area softly but effectively. I really like my two, just would like them to be a bit cheaper.

They are lovely and soft, and larger than your average wipe. They are a velour of some sort but not sure whether it's cotton or bamboo

The 2 colours that you see is the front and back of the wipe, ie white front with purple back IYKWIM.
I have 12 of them and I love them, really big and soft! Don't know what they're made of either...

Oh good, I was hoping they would be some kind of velour!
Little wee (not so) secret - Campbell adopted a free wipe from Wigglebums early last year as his cuddly/ blankie, and uses it to go to sleep with, and whenever he generally feels a bit tired or vulnerable. Only its getting a bit manky now, and hard to wash regularly since there's only one! Its also some sort of velour, so I'm really hoping the Itti Bitti wipes will take its place!
I decided to go ahead and order 3 in the closest colour possible to his, hopefully it works! And couldn't help but get a couple extra for face washers...

whitewave, I was the same. I dont think they make it very clear that its two layers,
Its 80% cotton 20% polyester.
I have 12 and have just ordered 4 more.
I love them, they are awesome wipes!!! I would recommend them to everyone.

Thats what I love about OB- I didn't know about these and have been moaning about our dire lack of good cloth wipes. I just ordered some from the cheeky cherubs website.

These are definitely the best wipes we've tried. Can't go back to anything else now!

Aren't they so lovely and soft? I'm currently slowly weaning Cam off his manky blanky and onto his nice new soft blankies!
And I got a few extra for face cloths. Now I'm wondering if we can afford to invest in more to actually use some for bum wipes!
