somehow both o them open our gate went over the road down the street and sit in the middle off one of the busyset streets in dunedin to play lucky a nice lady pulled her car over and pulled them off the road bigpreggy tummy and all while me and my sister were running in directions looking ffffffor them arrghh i think these boys are tryoing to make me go gray

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I haven't seen a wandering Jake yet; I think their new place is pretty damn securied.

Oh crap! That ain't cool!!

My feeling is you give them a lesson in road safety as soon as possible, then atleast if they get out (which wouldn't be nice at all) then they might think twice about going on the road.

We have found those bungee cords for securing things to trailers - really good for gates and you can get them off easily enough (for aduls). Also, meet the neighbours! we have when Taine managed to open our gate and wander around looking for cats - they can now return him the next time he is out on the road.

thanks lizzle the only prob there is most of our naubours are at work during the day but if the go for a night walk lol

still feeling like a naughty mummy but trying not to feel too gutliy just felling so greatfull that nothing happen to them and for that lovey lady who stopped and scooped them off the road before they got hit i,ve never been so scared i relly thought we were going to loss them and turst me middleton road is sooo busy heaps of turucks use that road thanks guys

dont feel guilty -

my two managed to cross a very busy main road at 3pm one friday afternoon to go and play at kindy... how the hell they didnt get run over i dont know. maybe its cause i have taught gabriel to always look but somehow i doubt it...

yep so far we have had 2 days with out esacpe attents we have figured out how they got out tooo they were using team work one climbs up the gate and unlacths the gate one pulls the gate open and then my james closes the gate as they leave we were whacthing them yesterday
