Sorry for the boring random topic      I normally buy cheapie $10 jandals but this year decided to splash out and bought some $30 Roxy ones from a surf shop about a month ago (thinking they would last a couple of years). Today was stinking hot in Cambridge (29') and I was at a friends house. I took them off at the front door and stayed about 3 hours. When I went to put them back on, they had curled/shriveled up and are now about 2 sizes too small       So my question is - was it just my stupid bad luck to leave them in the scorching sun, or should "expensive" jandals last better than that??

I'd take them back and try to get a replacement pair. I've learnt my lesson before with jandals and the sun!
Sucky for you P.S - is that the shop that had the little jandals for toddlers in?? I'm trying to find some for Brenna and the shop at Chartwell doesn't have them this year...

Yeah that one in Cambridge that we went to last year. They had heaps of the Havaiana's (sp?) about a month ago but haven't been in lately. My sis got some really cute Billabong jandals for my nephew and they were only $20 so cheaper. From Botany though I think. You could try the surf shop in town (Hams)

I'd take them back. I have 2 pairs of jandals that I got in Raro and they have been left in the sun for days on end and have never done that or even faded
