Yay I can finally log in, haven't been about to for six days.

Sarah and Kazza, so sorry to hear about your angel babies.
Sarah , sounds like a missed miscarriage, but as someone else says you can go for a D&C if you don't want it to happen naturally. I had this happen to me before the twins, and it was just so shocking as the baby stopped growing at 10 weeks. My thoughts are with you both at this time.

We got back from Sydney yesterday, was worried I wouldn't find anything to eat, but actually it was OK! I wore my sea bands the whole time and we did tonnes of walking.

Had today off as was just sick and my feet were blistered from walking so much!

Have to book my NT scan this week for next week. Can't wait. It is great to have that scan as you won't get another till 20weeks, and that's the sex scan.

Hope you are all well!!

Dear Sarah and Kazza Im so sorry to hear your news. Hope you have lots of support from those around you and sending lots of hugs.

Dzinergirl hope your MIL will go ok with the chemo. My MIL started chemo 6 weeks ago, she has pancreatic cancer. Her pancreas, spleen and now liver have tumours. I think the chemo is just prolonging things for her now. Its very sad to go through this at xmas.   Sending you some hugs and kia kaha.

I had my scan last week and couldnt see anything, whether its due to baby's position etc.. but its hard not to worry. I have another scan tomorrow to explore further... wishing all of those going through a hard time now some peace and comfort.

xxx K

What a horrible few days for some of you ladies :-( Dzinergirl & Kim40, it sucks what you are currently going through - my mum had a type of cancer that started in her appendix and little tumors spread throughout her body about 6 years ago. But after lots of ops and chemo, now she is probably the fittest, healthiest person in the family - completely surprised all her doctors. The silver lining was that, although very stressful time & we were all scared for mum, it brought the whole family a lot closer together.

On another note, is anyone else having really vivid dreams? I dread going to bed as I dream constantly, waking up exhausted & sometimes confused as they are so close to real life. And to boot, MS comes back when I have a crappy sleep :-( Last night DH was sleep talking (the first time I have heard him do that ever) and when i told him this morning that he talked all night, he asked me why I didn't just tell him to shut up. I did tell him to shut up, numerous times, but he thought he was in a meeting or something and kept answering me back!

Squoggs I'm with you on the dreams and making the following day unbearable.

Today hormones doing me in, so tired and all I want to do is have a good cry. DH said I should go home and lie on the couch, but I feel bad going home sick when I'm not really that bad... although I could snap at anyone at any given time which is not good.

yip i have wicked hormones at the moment too.....more getting angry than teary this time though. Poor DH, no wonder he is away at work so often (away for 5 nights next week :-( ) Oh well, like i kept telling him, its HIS fault for getting me pregnant!

I'm having a blobby at home day, don't feel like doing anything, supposed to be packing as we move on Friday but can't be bothered. The only things i plan to do today is read my book, lie on the couch and eat cheeseburgers (my latest craving - I had never eaten one in my life until a couple of week ago)

so are you def moving down to Wellington now?

my thing at the moment is fries, either from Maccers or BK, the salt on them is nice.

Haven't really had cravings yet, but if I think of something I can't let it go until I've had it. Although the other day I did wake up after dreaming of KFC drumsticks.

mmmmm...fries! Gosh this pregnancy thing is turning me into a little pig!

We heard from Dhs work few weeks ago (i must really update that due date info), they told us that we won't be able to transfer to wellington until the end of next year :-( I grew up in wellington so was really looking forward to moving home and bringing my kids up there, plus we have lots of friends and family there too

On Friday we are just moving to a house near the beach - I hate where we are currently living, so it will be a fantastic change - we are just renting for a bit as we are a bit uncertain about our future in auckland, however if it looks like we will be here permanently, we will probably buy in the same area.

Yip KFC drumstick dream, you're def pregnant!

Right its time i got off the net and did something slightly more constructive with my day - like packing :-P

I am loving fruit at the moment too, it is the one thing I'm craving. And it doesn't seem to matter what it is, as long as it's fresh it's all good . With Ollie I craved cherries and with Lilia it was blueberries, maybe it's my body's way of trying to tell me to eat healthier!

My nausea seems to be a little better, though now I seem to be getting headaches *sigh* can't win huh? That could also be down to dehydration as I'm finding it really hard to drink enough water (prior to being pregnant I was drinking 3-4 750ml bottles a day) now I can barely get through 1. I think it's the taste putting me off. Hmm might have to look at alternatives, but don't want anything too sweet or with loads of sugar ...

And my patience is really thin, which I feel bad about especially with for my kids. Lilia is sick at the moment so is generally really grizzly and it does my head in. I have to remember that she is feeling awful too and that she doesn't have enough words to express her feelings, and I have to remember to breathe!

So does anyone have any feelings about what their bub might be? I'm thinking girl (not that it matters). My mum is thinking twins Normally I'd laugh it off, but my mum's 'feelings' seem to come true more often than not

Yep I feel just like all of you!  Vivid dreams - check!  Wickedly tired - check!  craving KFC (popcorn chicken) and fresh fruit (strawberries) - check!  Moody, getting really really upset about small things and storming out of the house in anger - check!  Also, my MS seems to be getting worse, not better!  Was retching before I even got out of bed this morning!!

I'm taking all this as signs that I have a strong healthy bubba tho, so I'm smiling through the crappiness!  Cannot WAIT to be able to tell people why I've been so quiet and tired lately.  I did tell a couple of friends via email today, cos they were giving me major hassles for not going to the soccer with them this Saturday!  I just do not have the energy to make it through a Big Night Out, not too mention that I can't drink!!

Is anyone else having the issue of burning their mouths when eating hot food, (due to it having to be piping hot when eating it)???

Are we allowed KFC Chicken??? I soo want some.

I'm sure there are people at my work who suspect, and have been polite in not saying anything till I tell them.

I'm really craving sweet things at the moment, I don't normally eat a lot of sweets but all I can think of is the party packs....

Feeling better today, mood wise, however still tired as normal, I'm now living with waking up at 4.30am to go to the loo, I guess it's baby's way of getting me used to get up at odd hours for feeding *sigh*

All worth it though.

1st4us, i think your food might be a bit too hurt if you're burning your mouth when eating I think KFC is ok as long as it prepared when you order, so probably stay away from the drumstick and breast cos they always seem to have those ready, I order the fillets (only chicken I will eat there) and they appear to prepare them pretty much when I order so I think thats ok.
Im cravin chocolate lots right now, having to use lots of self-disclipine with it. Although, after reading about strawberries I want some
Bex1, they cant do anything once you tell them your pregnant and they have to give you a job similar to what you do now when you go back.

Hey 1st for us, I'm very bad, I just eat whatever I want, mind you I dont like soft cheese/seafood/sushi, so I think I'm OK!

I never worried too much with any of my 3 and they all turned out perfect!

Yup Melissa, I know my job is safe, just unsure if I want to go back to that role. I want to work 3 days a week when I go back, rather than full time, so I can enjoy the boys more, I feel like I'm missing out on a lot ATM!!

Bad MS today, feel yuck, my tummy is very unhappy with me! GRRR, but hopefully can find something to eat at lunchtime

Found this on line for thos who want KFC but nervous about eating it
"i worked at kfc for over 7years and the 2 worst things to eat from there whilst pregnant are coleslaw and potatoe and gravey these were the 2 things that used to come back from the health deparment showing highest bacteria growth rate so i steer clear of these 2 things thank god the chicken skin is still ok lol"

Thanks Melissag, though I may just be careful and stay away from it for. I can wait another 30 or so weeks.

Yes I think my food maybe a bit hot, my own stupid fault really. LOL

I'm also loving Twisties and Cheesles (spelling)

I'm with you ladies on the lack of chocolate cravings, normally if i see if advertised on tv in the evening I immediately want it. Also been eating lots of strawberries, we live near a big strawberry farm where you can get big $5 containers of them...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I hate to put a dampener on the KFC thing, but its the only food my husband refuses to get me as his father has had campala bacta (spelling) from there twice - and my FIL now refuses to eat anything with chicken when we go out for dinner. but in saying that, i have had sneaky McDs chicken mcnuggets....and they are probably worse, not to mention all the yukky bits they are made up of. I find this whole PG eating thing very strange, I had never had KFC or McDs in my life until now - i used to be such a health freak ...now im living on s&v kettle fries!

Has anyone else finding their hair and nails are growing faster? I have to cut my nails twice a week at the moment, and shave my legs everyday - im blonde and normally i could get away with only doing it every 3 or 4 days.

I laughed when i read about your burning mouth 1st4us, glad im not the only one shoveling the food in!
