Topic: Just need to share.... Posted: 16 April 2007 at 3:27pm |
My warm fuzzy of the day.
When I was pregnant with the gremlins I used to talk to this lady at Maya's swimming lessons who had a little girl about a year old. She had been thru IVF to have her (long story but I think she had no tubes?) and in July went thru a second lot of IVF and got pregnant again. The last time I saw her she had just got her first lot of hCG's back so was only very early on.
I've kept an eye out for her at swimming ever since but she hasn't been back. Then this morning, of all the random places, I ran into her at a Multiple Birth Club playgroup.
Turns out that both embryos they put back had taken and she had a boy and a girl 7 weeks ago. I am soooo stoked for her.
So in a world where sucky things happen to nice people it's nice to know that nice things do occasionally happen to nice people
And that, ladies, is my warm fuzzy of the day

I have a friend who next year will begin her journey with IVF, she has no eggs herself and has been told she has got a longggggggggg road ahead of her. But she such an amzing person and deserves a child of her own (and her then will be hubby) so heres hoping she has the same exciting news as your friend Emma.
