Has anyone here had any success with it? Would you recommend it?

Someone asked about the liquid diets earlier this yr & this what what I posted...
I have tried Tony F, & I was losing weight, not much. I did it for 4-6wks before I decided to buy the shakes at the supermarket as they were much the same & cheaper. I don't really like shakes & tend to give up on them.
There products are nice as far as shakes go & with the soups I put in raw veg which made them a bit more filling.
Kate M is free to join & about the same price for shakes & you have to pay for their material. I was thinking of doing this as it has the breakfast range also, but again don't think I would stick to shakes.
I did a rough $ comparison.
Tony-$70 wk 2 meal
Kate-$105 wk 3meal
Jenny C- $100-$140 wk
Weight Watchers-$18
Sure Slim-? don't know but expensive
Shakes from super market $25 start (fortnight)
Slimmm-$60+ 2 meals (6 days)
I was thinking for the price of doing shakes I could do JC & have meals & have them made for me.
But it is a lot of money to pay out & you are paying about $100+ per kg.

I haven't done Kate Morgan, but I have done other shake diets and found them sooooo hard to stick to. I just craved eating real food! Also after finishing with the shakes I found I always put the weight back on pretty fast.
I think WW is the best of those you listed Jazzy... I found the meetings really supportive, not too expensive and I lost weight steadily and quite quickly. I always found I had ample points, was never hungry and had enough points for wine on the weekend which is most important

I think all liquid based diets are a waste of time, if you want to loose weight and put it back on again then go for it. If you want to loose weight and keep it off you have to change what you have done to put on the weight in the first place otherwise as soon as you go back to normal food its just gonna be put straight back on.

I've never been able to succeed at meal replacement diets either, they may provide the nutrition that I need, but don't satisfy my need for actual food.
I've had success with WW when I've stuck at it, I found the meetings great, the food diary is probably one of the most useful tools of their's I've used, keeping track of what I'm eating, making sure I'm drinking enough water and getting enough exercise when you write it all down its easy to see the bigger picture.
The only real long term solution is to change your eating habits, eating less and more healthy foods and increasing your activity/exercise levels.
I also found with WW that budget wise it was the easiest, as I could shop seasonally and get the best price for fruit and vege.

My cousin is the new face of Kate Morgan. She lost a huge amount of weight using the system, and has kept it off. My MIL is on it at the moment. I think that it's not just about meal replacement, it's about attitude as well - for example, my cousin started walking regularly, and ate proper healthy meals (you don't replace every meal with a shake, only lunch). My MIL, on the other hand, has the shakes and the bars, but only ever does exercise if it's a fine day and she has the girls (so maybe 1/2 times a fortnight??) - she never does any other exercise. She therefore hasn't lost all that much. She is a yo-yo dieter though - always on some kind of weight loss scheme and the weight never stays off.

Any weight loss plan that you cant stick to for life is a waste of time and money (put simply) lol.
I do however think that some of the weight loss plans give you the skills you need to change your lifestyle as Kate was saying above in relation to her cousin and Mum.

I think if you only have a bit to lose then these quick fix ones can work..
If took me ages to get my head around eating better than dieting. If you have a lot to lose then you should really change for life style. When you stop doing liquid diets & start eating food it is hard not to put on weight.
You need to drink heaps of water & the exercise you do is to tone up the body. If you lose heaps of weight fast & don't exercise you will be left with lose skin.
If you eat smaller meals more often & balanced & cut out processed stuff you will have a better result & more maintainable than any fad/ quick fix starvation diet.

Lisa just wondering if you decided to do it....I am thinking about doing it...not sure still thinking
I saw their new creams advertised on TV mmm they do look yum.
I recalculated & its about $140 a fortnight for what I would do so $70 a week is not bad
