   What about the drier if they can get to it? That was my cousins favourite spot when he was a toddler. Me, I used to hide everything in the fruit bowl with the fruit placed back on top.

 I second woodbasket, followed by toy basket, behind couch and down sided of chairs (ours have slipped so far down sides, they ahve gone IN the chair, so you may have to turn it upside down..)
