i am not normally a person to complain or take things back, i just suck it in and go on with life! BUT on wednesday 20th aug late arvo i brought my oldest a new pair of shoes, couldnt really afford to but needed to be done. searched a few shops for a pair her size etc.. ended up getting some from the warehouse for $25
now we havent had them long and she isnt a rough crazy child but they are literally scuffed up the wazu and elastic lacey things are tearing! it made me so upset i almost cried as i struggled to part with the money to start with! anyway, i still have the docket here do i have a right to return them? can i
? just she has only worn them thurs and fri and they have already been quite badly damaged. i had to get emma some new ones too so went in yesterday and got her the same ones but different colour and now im gutted... ahh!!
small thing i know but as most of you know money is tight for most people at the mo so in total $50 is HEAPS and not something that we have easily available if i have to replace both.... would add up.
blah, sorry i prob sound like a right knob.

   I would take them back.
I took a top back to farmers because Kylah had worn it once and the domes had broken.

 They replaced it.

take them back. you deserve functional shoes regardless of how much you pd, especially if your on a tight budget (your not alone there) i do feel stink when i have to return things but your well within your right to do so.

Take them back and insist on a refund. Shoes should at least last a year - its a manufacturing fault, not yours.

oh I hear ya - I got brooke some boots from No1 shoes and after 2month max of wearing them - all the leather is peeling off them, one of the heals has come unglued and the other is about to - its not water proof. I asked my mum how long do you think I have to return them and how long should a child shoe last - and she said at least one season (which they haven't) so I am going to try and find the receipt and see what they will do as thats pretty bad - especially since Boots you would think would last longer.. in winter!

I have brought cheep before (more than once) and they have lasted years so buying cheep doesn't always mean they are going to falll apart quickly.
I email No1 shoes as we don't have one locally. See what they say

Yay for returning them and getting your money back - shame about the other shoes but perhaps it was a one off and they maybe ok

Yay for getting your money back Rach, hope the other ones are OK.
I've got 3 different items of baby clothes from JK to take back coz the domes have busted on them already but it's finding the time...

I also have a peapod from Babyfactory to take back as a dome has broken and it hasn't lasted that long - can't use cause its the dome I need to use.
As for the boots I was going to take back but I can't find the receipt so there goes that idea!
