I would say that number of nappies is heaps! My twins were 6lb 3oz and 6lb 8oz and I don't think we went through 250 NB nappies each!!
Good luck tomorrow!!!

Depends on how quickly your baby grows I had a 8lb 10oz baby and we went through two 144 boxes but I wouldn't buy anymore.

Good luck for the induction tomorrow!

Lily was 6lbs 13oz and we used NB nappies until she was 5 weeks and we had about 10 nappy changes a day/pretty much 2-3hourly! So I would say it should be enough, use them and see how you find them size wise as to whether you buy the same size or get the next size up iygwim.

I birthed in Wgtn so not sure about Auckland but they supplied 7 maternity pads and that was it, I had to provide nappies for baby and maternity pads after the 7 ran out. Also take a pack of nappies as you never know how long you'll be in hospital for.

DS was 9.4 and we went through at least 260 NB nappies. If you do end up needing more it won't be for awhile

Wow yep thats HEAPS of nappies! lol hopefully they are ok on your baby! I got a bunch of treasures newborn for my first baby and it turned out that they were hopeless for him, he peed and pood right through them, so they were a waste he needed huggies.

He was 9lb 8oz and in new born till 4 or 5 weeks.

Hi

Auckland Hospital and Birthcare both supply nappies and maternity pads. Not wipes though, so you may want to take some of them.

Good luck!
