Hi there, I live in Auckland and was wondering if anyone knows of any other maternity clothing brands and where I can get them from besides Egg and the ones from PP and JK? I am after something a bit different that doesn't cost the earth either.

house of bebe has some nice stuff a bit different = in sales is ok price - otherwise is egg prices or higher...they are on te irirangi drive by mitre 10 mega sorta!

otherwise there are some great floaty tops around lately - now im not preggy....and also k mart does a great budget range of mat gear. and the sara range from ezibuy and maya range at the warehouse also would suit some stages of pregnancy at the moment. Ive lived in maya stuff post birth!

Hey there, I loved Mobea clothing when I was pregnant. She has an online store. I lived in the mobea a-line skirt. I wore it from 4 weeks until 41 weeks. I was so excited about being pregnant I couldn't wait to wear maternity clothes.

If you are wanting different stuff then check out all the on line stores. prices vary but you can get some very cool stuff. Australian on line shops are cheaper and usual slightly more funky.

Thanks for your help - I will go and check House of Bebe out as I would prefer to try clothes on before buying rather than buying on line. The hassle of having to return if it's not right is something I don't want to think about right now!

I brought alot of my tops etc from The Warehouse and Kmart. My jeans are from Mummy's Tummy and my black pants are from Pumpkin Patch.

I went to see the maternity clothes at House of Bebe - Ripe maternity, they are an Australian brand. The pricing is reasonable (sale or no), from average to above average and really nice styles. It was fun to try them on and I can see myself 'growing' in them nicely. A nice range of clothing from jeans, skirts, tops and dresses. It makes me feel as if I am wearing the style of clothing I would wear before being pregnant without it costing the earth. Looking forward to seeing what they bring in for Summer too.

yeah we kinda found house of bebe too late for me to justify buying from there - there really is only so much maternity wear you need.....but also try dressmart for PP maternity....and there is an awesome skirt they do that i lived in for work and casual and they make the pants in the same stretch fabric.

and st lukes PP has a gorgeous mat coat on sale at moment - bllck and white for $29!!! lovely.....

Thanks everyone for your replies and recommendations. I have been wearing my Ripe clothing for the last couple of days. It is so comfy and I feel great wearing them. I have had so many comments from those that I work with! If anyone is wanting to add this range to their mix of clothing it is certainly well worth a visit to House of Bebe to check it out!
