I'm not sure, you could just drink kiwifruit or prune juice to keep you regular

Ive got myself some pitted prunes, and am going to start eating lots of fruit etc and drink lots of water so that should help. I was just wondering cos my brother uses it and he sprinkles it on his breakfast and he said it really helps him(he has probs with constipation etc)

The only reason I suggested prune juice is because my lil man has constipation issues and so we give him watered down prune juice and it works like a charm. Does taste a bit interesting though even if he loves it lol

Psyllium husk is good, I had metalax from my GP to help my irregular problem during the early times. So i guess that's safe, nut sure if metamucil is the same thing but I think it's similar. I just used it daily in juice to keep me going

I use metamucil as I'm on iron too. Mentioned it to my mw and she said it was fine. Just checked the label and it doesn't warn against use in pregnancy. Yep Metamucil is psyllium husk powder.

I have never thought of using Metamucil, must get onto it as I have finally just started taking iron too. Prunes have been good, and licorice, not sure if that really does much but it tastes good.

I have seen metamucil listed as ok during pregnancy ... I am only going to resort to it if I get desperate. I have had nasty constipation recently! I have been drinking lots of hot water with a squirt of lemon - for some reason hot water seems to help me more than cold water. Also eating lots of oats.

Prunes & esp prune juice work wonders! I was really worried about things working OK after I gave birth so ate prunes & drank prune juice to make sure all was OK. You don't even need heaps - from memory 1L prune juice lasted me about 5-7 days, same with a pack of prunes. Anyways, I'll just say the remedy worked too well on me and I was waay too regular
