Hi

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion or advice on wether to purchase a macbook or ms laptop?

We have to get a new computer and are thinking of getting a macbook as we have had endless trouble with all our MS laptops's with viruses etc. and we have had all the up to date virus protection but lost photos and paid so much to get things fixed so many times. I work in IT but only with MS so would appreciate any feedback on Macs.

I guess our minds are almost made up as apparently macs dont get viruses but would still like to hear what anyone thinks.

Thanks

I sold my MS laptop a few years ago and got a Mac laptop... and I love it. I have never had a problem with viruses or anything. I'm totally converted to Mac.

It took a while to get used to the differences, but it was so worth it.

I my iMac. It's extra money but I definitely wouldn't go back.

My work laptop (IT here too) is MS but I much prefer the Mac.

Mac all the way. Honestly. I've had my mac for over 4 years and haven't had problems with it ONCE. And they can't get viruses. Honestly, go mac.....

ETA: Oops just read you already wrote they don't get viruses. Awesome though eh!!!

My husband has been in the IT industry for 15 years or so and will only ever work with MS.
