WOULD it be rude of me to ask.. what was the surgery for?
ETA: Don't have to answer that if its personal.

Hi guys, thanks for your support. I'm back at home, yay! AnnC - LLETZ treatment for CIN3 cells on my cervix and a laporoscopy which showed that I have endometriosis. Feeling a bit battered - like my insides have been used for someone's personal punching bag but glad to be out of hospital and near real food again...

mummy_becks - I'm not sure, the aftercare wasn't something to rave about, I only know about the endo as one of the surgeons saw me briefly not long after I woke up and told me that and that there is quite a bit of scarring on my tubes. She said she's seen worse. That was the last I saw of any doctors, so I'm going to get into contact with my usual doctor (who is getting a full report) and find out what happens now. I don't know much about endo at all, so in the dark a little bit.

glad all went well. Sorry about the emdo - but my friend had it and alot of trouble with 'down there' bad cells etc.. and although it did take a while for them to get pregnant she is pregnant now and due august so not all bad news. Also i had cyst in my ovary and a cyst tumor in one fallopian tube when i was 16 - had to have the fallopian tube taken out and I have gone on to have 3 kids no probs (too soon in a couple of cases LOL) so hopefully ur tubes will be ok. I too don't know much about emdo but ppl on here will.
