Topic: Morning Sickness *again* at 25 weeks??? Posted: 24 June 2008 at 2:53pm |
I had the normal hideous sickness at the begining that subsided by 14 weeks, but NOW at 25 weeks for the past 3 days I have been getting that familiar 'wave of nausea' that comes and goes, now today it has just stuck.
Is there such a thing as another kind of hormone surge around now???
I know it's not a stomach bug or anything it just feels exactly like ms.
Has anyone else experienced this??

Sadly I have experienced this as well. I had it at about 25 weeks for a short while then I got it again really bad at 30 something weeks. The past few days have been fine again though.
I found eating a little often really helped (more than while I had it the fist time).

Yep sorry. I felt seedy first trimester for 2 weeks and then beginning of 3rd trimester it came back for a week. It wasn't as bad as first trimester though.

Mine had gone at 14 weeks and came back at 18 weeks until about 21 weeks, just as bad, felt awful but have had nothing since then (knocking loudly on wood so the MS fairy can hear!! )

Sounds like it could be reasonably common... I'm not really sure, I was throwing up for my whole pregnancy, except I got about a 3 week break from throwing up at the very end. Then it was just false labour and heartburn and pelvic pain etc. etc.
I used to suck popsicles a lot to help with the nausea while I fixed myself a proper snack... because otherwise I would throw up while trying to get myself food. It seemed to help a little, half of the time. And lollipops and crackers. Or drinking water, because it's not as bad to throw up.

yup, kicked in for me at 36 weeks. Not nearly as bad as first trimester, but it quickly brought back the memory of nausea and vomitting that I had in my first trimester. Still have it a bit now (38 weeks, 5 days and counting) but not bad. I think it's relatively common, and it's just those lovely hormones that us women are cursed with.

Argh, I *wish* mine had gone away for even a few days but nope, mine starts at 5 weeks and lasts right up until I push the buggers out. No more babies for me! It is sooooo not cool being 37 weeks and still heaving in the sink every morning.

I had MS at the end but none at the beginning, mine went from about 30 weeks right up until Keziah was born at 40+6 (even lost control all over the floor while in labour )

I've been getting that lately! I thought I had a stomach bug or was coming down with something until it just didn't go away, I've been feeling terrible for the last week! But I have been getting headaches with the nausea and vomiting, I don't think I got that last time.
Does anyone else get headaches with their morning sickness?
