no I don't think so. I got a mother's day card and a parenting magazine when I was pregnant and I was only about 7 weeks at that stage so I hadn't done the hard yards like you have.

You are providing shelter and food....and love....you are already a mother! Not rude...start dropping bigger hints if you have to. |

Well i am a mummy and i dont think he hqas even thought about me! I think hes got the idea he doesnt have too because Kylahs not old enough. I pointed out a $9 'I love mum' photo frame in the best buys catalogue, im happy with that. But wishful thinking. I will buy myself something. I really want a coffee cup with Kylahs photo on it.

Totally!! We only found out Harry was on the way about 4 days before Mothers Day, and I kept going on to DH about a pressie but he didn't get me anything, or a card So at Fathers Day (I was still preggers) I got him a cool lil pressie and a card, and then I think he realised and came home that afternoon with a 'Mothers Day' present for me! Hehe.

I didn't get one when I was pregnant. The best present now would be to sleep in! And breakfast in bed with a good magazine |

Well I specifically asked if I was going to get anything for Mother's Day, and got told: "No, you don't qualify yet!" (for goodness sake, I grew up in a household where the pets gave people presents! i.e. before my sister and I came along, the family dog gave out both Mother's and Father's Day cards and gifts!) |

I found out I was pregnant just before Mothers Day last year and DP didn't think it was appropriate to give me anything either. Funny how he was a little upset when Fathers Day came around and I didn't get him anything.

I got DH a fathers day card from the cat (and added Rowan's name) Yes they do make father's day cards given from your pets.
DH better get me a card at least - he didn't do or say anything when I HAD Rowan and he's been in the dog box about that ever since.

I got a Mothers day pressie when I was pregnant. Chocolates I think but there must have been something else...
I got DH I card & DVD from Bubba for Fathers day, managed to find a 1st Fathers day card and still was pregnant.
It was kinda cool and added to the excitement.

I'd tell him you want choccie's men just don't get hints We don't do presents on Mothers/fathers days that person get breakfast in bed or we go out to a cafe their choise. I usually choose to go out unless I remember to get all the stuff for DH to make me eggs benedict and a Mochoccino. (At least my DH is a good cook)
