Maddisyn Jade was born at 1am on Thursday morning by emergency c-section, 6 pounds 13 ounces...
It has been an amazing 5 days and we have just gotten home, I am still totally blown away that my baby is here...my midwife is visitng me soon and we are just unpacking all our stuff so I will come back when we are a bit more settled and write my birth story etc but just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for your support during those last days, they were hard...and I had a horrible birth expereince but it was so worth it I am so in love with my baby it's amazing...
And as luck would have it I got to meet Gen and Maree who were at North Shore at the same time, and Jax (very fleetingly, sorry Jax, I woudl loved to have chatted longer just had like a million family members descend on me at once...  )... was great to meet you all and wuold love to catch up sometime when the dust has settled...
anyway will come back and post m ore details and pics etc soon...just wanted to share my news quickley...

Congratulations, Frantic - so glad you're home and have your wee girl. Sorry to hear it was a tough arrival for her - hope your recovery goes well. Love to hear more from you here when you're up to it (NO pressure - rest up!!).
