I know babies come in different sizes and shapes and grow at different paces but I'm interested to know how long your babies were in newborn nappies and then went on to the bigger sizes and so on.
I'm stocking up on nappies from work so I'm just trying to get a rough idea.
Also, how many nappies a day on average do you go through?

Zoe didn't wear newborn nappies, she went straight to the infant size as she was over 5kgs!
On the other hand, Lucy wore newborns for a few months.
My best bet would be to stock up on all sorts of sizes as you are going to need them all in the end, and especially when they are on sale! eg, Ferrit are having a major sale!

Isla was 8lb 6 born, but never fitted huggies newborns, they cut into her thighs badly. We used Treasures Ultra newborns cos they seemed to have more room but were as good quality, then at 5 weeks old went into cloth fulltime.

We used huggies newborn for about a month, and then we used treasures newborn (I think Chloe's legs were a bit skinny for them to begin with, but once her thighs chubbed up a little, she fit them better) and the huggies infant ones, simultaneously, for about another 2 months. Chloe was born 8lb2oz and we moved up to the huggies crawler ones just this week, when she was 4 months.

Sophie was 8lb 4oz, and she was in newborn for 3 weeks, but saying that, it was only because I wanted to use them up. I found the huggies a bit tight around her thghs too. I would stock up on the next size up rather than NB.

Great, thanks for the feedback. If I buy too much then I can always save them for the next bubs or give them away. I might just get a box of each every couple of weeks or something.
I doubt that anyone will buy us nappies as a gift as everyone knows that I get them really cheap.
